Trademarks Around the World
Reif Marks will also be happy to register your trademarks around the world. Perhaps you would like to register your mark in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or maybe in China? No problem! We are ready and able to arrange those filings for you without delay, at highly competitive prices. We regularly file trademarks in around 200 countries worldwide.
In addition to being able to file "National" applications, i.e. applications in individual countries, we can also register "International Trademarks" for you, under the Madrid Treaty. In some circumstances, this can save significant amounts of money and reduce bureaucracy. We will be happy to consider your particular needs and then advise you whether national filings or a Madrid filing would better suit your purposes.
Of course, our services are not limited to the filing and registration of your marks. We also conduct and manage all enforcement and protection proceedings, around the world. These may include oppositions against third party trademark applications, court action against infringers, defending third party actions, etc. We have very high success rates in these actions, thanks to our expertise and our 20 years' experience.
We are committed to responding extremely quickly and efficiently to all communications.
Let us take charge of your trademarks. We won't let you down.

Some General Information About Trademarks
A trademark can be a brand name, such as "Mercedes" or "Coca-Cola", or a logo, or a combination between the two. A trade mark can even be a 3D object, a particular kind of smell or a combination of musical notes.
The legal purpose of a trademark is to enable the consumer public to identify a particular product, or service, as belonging to a particular business.
From the perspective of your business, a trademark could be the best investment you ever make.
Registering a trademark is quite cheap. But through extensive and proper use, it can build substantial goodwill for your business, which may have a very positive economic result.
A trademark which becomes well known to the public can also add considerable value to your business. This will be useful if you ever decide to sell the business, or take new investment on board, or even branch out by granting franchises.
Ask Coca-Cola what their most valuable asset is today, You may be surprised - it's probably not their secret recipe - it's their trademark.

Trademark Registration in Europe
At Reif Marks, the process of registering your trademark in Europe couldn't be simpler.
First of all - everything can be done by email! Although we are always delighted for our clients to come and meet us at our offices (we work out of Cambridge, UK and the Middle East), we also understand that this can sometimes be time-consuming, particularly if you live far away, or abroad. So, if you prefer, we can handle the entire process, from start to finish, by email and telephone.
We are also proud to offer our clients an expedited same day filing service. If you provide us with the necessary information and payment, during normal business hours on a work day, we will usually be able to file your trademark application on the same day.
An EU Trademark (EUTM) (formerly known as a Community Trademark - CTM) is, once registered, valid in all of the member states of the European Union (currently 28 countries). This is a quick and efficient way of protecting your mark in a large part of Europe.
The costs of registering an EUTM are not high, particularly in light of the potentially substantial added value which a registered EUTM can bring to your business. Official fees for one class are €850, with an additional €50 for the second class and an additional €150 for each class beyond the first two. Our professional fees for an application in one class are £200 (or $275 in USD or €250 in Euros), for a case which goes smoothly.
A trademark can issue in a matter of a few months.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
